Rebate checks can still be directly deposited despite a liability on 2007 tax return

Taxpayers are urged to fill out the Direct Deposit information on their 2007 Tax Returns even if they owe taxes on their 2007 Tax returns.

This way the IRS Service Center will be able to directly deposit the Rebate Checks into the taxpayers account much faster!
