IRS has some great news for Stock Traders!

There will be a new requirement that mandates Stock Brokers "to provide the basis information for Stock Sales. However, though this mandate was required to be put in place for 2008, there has been a delay and now this mandate will be put in force in 2009!

This will help CPA's and other tax preparers as well during the crunch period as the cost basis information will be provided on the Yearly 1099 Reports.
