Will the IRS deposit my "Tax Rebate Check directly into my Bank Account?

There is good news from the IRS! It appears now that the IRS will directly deposit the Fiscal Tax Stimulus Tax Rebate, that is ranging from $300 to $1200 into the taxpayers account.

However, it is only available for those Taxpayers who have requested that their 2007 tax refund be deposited directly into either their Savings or Checking Account.

Clearly, if the taxpayers file their 2007 tax return with an option of requesting the IRS to directly deposit the refund, this will indeed speed the Rebate Checks as well. This is because the IRS will use the same bank account and routing information to route the Deposit of the Rebate Checks.
