How Long Should It Take To Receive Your Tax Refund?

Generally speaking, your 2007 tax refund should be issued about six to eight weeks after the IRS receives your paper filed tax return.

But, if you filed your 2007 tax return electronically, you can expect your tax refund to be issued in 3-4 weeks, and much faster if choose the direct deposit option.
