divorced and need to know how to file last year's Virginia state tax refund

I have been divorced since October of 2008 and my ex and I received a $300 or so Virginia State tax refund last year, which we divided equally. Can anyone tell me how we need to claim this on our individual returns this year? Do we just split it down the middle?
