Am I doing my amended tax return correctly!?

I already completed my federal and states (AZ, MD) taxes. They all have been accepted. After submitting, I received my 1098-T.

I went through the process of amending the return on TurboTax, but it is having me change parts on my state return. When I get to the end, my AZ and MD state tax refund amounts have gone to $0 and my federal is more than it was originally (originally $716, now $1357 is being added).

I believe this is just because I am seeing the amended amount I will be receiving; which would not include the state taxes because nothing changed on those? Or am I not going to receive that refund anymore?

When I amend on TurboTax, will it include all the correct forms for me to print to submit my amended taxes?

I also saw that I should wait till I receive my federal refund so the IRS doesn't mix up what I should be receiving and what I will be receiving?

Thank you for any help!

Or am I not going to receive that refund anymore?===>As mentioned previously.

When I amend on TurboTax, will it include all the correct forms for me to print to submit my amended taxes?==.i think so however i am not familiar with the software so you neeed to contact the vendor for sure.

I also saw that I should wait till I receive my federal refund so the IRS doesn't mix up what I should be receiving and what I will be receiving?=====> If you are filing to claim an additional refund, yiou need to wait until you have received your original refund before filing Form 1040X. You may cash that check while waiting for any additional refund
