Unallocated Alimony and Pendente Lite ruling

I was divorced in June of 08. My final settlement agreement stipuates we follow a pendente lite order until the jointly owned former marital resodence is sold. The PL states I pay the mortgage, taxes an home equity line directy. Plus I pay her 2000 which is unallocated.

My question is what portion of this is alimony?

I filed as follows:
50% interest of 1st, 2nd and taxes is alimony. (We each deduct 50% of interest and taxes)
2000/month is alimony
I did not consider any of the money paid to her as child support.

She claims 0 is alimony since it is all unallocated.

Does anyone know how the IRS treates this? What about NJ state taxes?

Thanks
