1099 for multiple DBA's of same sole proprietor

Relizing of that I am filing late. I have 3 seperate sole-proprietor businesses. Do I file 1099-Misc from My Name Dba Business 1 - SSN and My Name Dba Business 2 - SSN etc... or do I lump them all together and send out all from My Name SSN?

Thank you

Generally speaking you should file a separate 1099-Misc from each of your DBA using that DBA's SSN#. It is not best practice to lump the 1099-Misc amounts from all the 3 DBA's together.

The exception would be if you are using your personal SSN# for each sole proprietorship business. In that case, it would may be acceptable to the IRS if you sent all the 1099-Misc from 1 DBA as it they would have your common SSN#.

Please file these 1099-Misc returns even if you are late, as it would avoid potential penalties down the road for your business.
