First Time Home Owner and 1098 questions

My husband and I bought a house in 2013. If I am not mistaken , does that mean we will get a credit on our taxes?

2nd question : We really want to file our taxes ASAP.I received my 1098 but it still has my maiden name on it. The mortgage company said I cannot even request a corrected one for another week or so. Could we go ahead and file anyways with the incorrect one since it is just a name glitch , and then when next week rolls around I can just call and get a corrected 1098? The numbers won't be different just the name.

Thanks for any help

Valerie
