Annuity owned by an irrevocable trust

My Mom is the annuitant of a deferred annuity that is owned by her irrevocable trust. I will soon need to withdraw funds from the annuity (income only, as allowed by the trust) to pay for her care. Since the trust is the owner, will I need to report this as income to the trust, or will the income simply pass through to Mom's 1040?
