mortgage interest after divorce

My divorce was final on Dec 16. I kept the home. My ex wife did a quit claim deed to me for the home, and I paid her her portion of the home equity. Now she is filing her taxes and asking about the mortgage interest in the home for that year. I'm telling her that she disolved any interest in the house when she was paid her portion of the equity. We have joint custody of our son and she gets to claim him in even years.

From what I see she does not have enough deductions to allow her to itemize, but if she did, is she entitled to the mortgage interest paid on the house while we were married during 2010?
