reporting mortgage interest

In the process of filing a 1040 and filling out schedules A and E, does mortgage interest and property taxes get entered on both schedules or can I only claim it one . Thank you.

You will have to report Mortgage Interest on your principal residence on Schedule A line 10.

Whereas, the Mortgage Interest on your rental properties are reported strictly on Schedule E line 12, along with the Property taxes incurred for the Rental Property.
