lost earnings

I had about 20,000.00 in acrued long term sick leave that was taken away by our new management. This was not a life insurance policy...we actually put in 1.82 hours a pay period. Having some 700 hours..I lost alot of money. I want to know if I can claim this as Lost Wages.

Barring the contract that says otherwise, your employer is legally entitled to change their benefits as they see fit and as business needs require. No sick time is considered wages so they have no legal obligation to grandfather the sick leave benefits you already had. It may or may not be fair, but nothing your company new management has done is illegal
