Dear Tax Guru,

I have specific question about how to fill my tax 2009.
I am under J-1 visa and I am non-resident alien for tax-purposes.
After I came to the country I bought plenty of stuff to set up my home like furnitures, appliances, etc. I was told that these expenses could be presented as relocation costs. Is that true?
Overall my income was $50K and this costs are like more than $10K. So, it is a considerable amount of money...
