2nd residence/apartment rent deductible?

I will be renting an apartment 2 hours from my home residence where my family will remain, in order to take a better job. Is there any part of having a second rental residence deductable from taxes due to the fact I had to take the job to provide for my family? I will reside in the apartment throughout the week and commute home for the weekends. Any guidance you can give would be great!
