Local tax PSD 510101

Hello,

I just started a new job, I live and work in Philadelphia, PA. My company's home office is based in a southern state and they "aren't familiar with local taxes all questions should be asked of a tax professional or my work location". My set work location said I need to contact home office to get this fixed so it has been going back and forth.

I am based at a home location where evening employees in my position are not set a a particular location, so they incur taxes for any other townships they may visit. I hear from my set work location that my information wasn't correctly attached to the location where I work which is why I originally had to pay taxes for another township and PSD 462001.

Paying taxes for another township where I do not live or work recently got fixed however I am still pay for PSD 510101. I have never seen PSD 510101 on any other stub for any employer I have had in the past. I did a hourly paycheck calculator, one for ADP and one powered by paycheck city and everything else basically matched up give or take a penny but PSD 510101 wasn't mentioned when I put in my address, hourly rate, how many hours worked, tax status, net and gross pay as well as dependent.

If anyone has any information on PSD 510101 please message me. As no one else I have encountered is familiar with it at all.

Thank you.

.

Also, your ER should have given you the PSD510101 guess you need to contact PA Dept of Revenue for more info in detail; aslongas your permanent residence is in Philadelphia simply you need to complete the form and enter 510101 in the Resident PSD Code field.

ERs are required to obtain information in the Residency Certification Form for every employee.
