Does My Rental Disqualify Me for the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit

I sold a rental property in 2007, which was physically not my primary residence. Since the rental was not primary residence, I lived with my parents at the time, would I qualify for the $8,000 First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit? What would be the test on my 2007 tax return that would prove or disprove my qualification? (ex. paying of capital gains? ...etc.)
