I have read that some states are less friendly to LLCs at tax time. I know filing fees vary by state as do tax rates of course, but are there any specific state tax laws that go above and beyond to extract taxes from LLC owners? If so, which states and what kind of tax law?
Sorry, I am not aware of these kinds of law attributable to any State! Generally speaking, most states are fairly consistent with their treatment of LLC's and none of states have harsh laws against LLC's that target their owners to extract more taxes! At least I am not aware of at this time!
