Does Idaho State accept the federal extension for C Corporations?

The Idaho State Tax Commission does not require a corporation to file "a request for additional time." In fact, Idaho grants an automatic extension until October 15, 2009 to file your 2008 tax return.

The Idaho State Tax Commission states that to avoid penalties, a corporation must pay 80 percent of your current year tax liability or 100 percent of the tax reported on your 2007 income tax return by April 15, 2009. If the Corporation owes $50 or less, a payment is not required, however, interest will be charged.
