How can a taxpayer check the status of their California Personal Income Tax Refund?

According to the California Franchise Tax Board, taxpayers are urged to wait for 7 days before checking their Tax Refund status after they e-file their tax return. For taxpayers who have filed on paper they are urged to wait for about 8 weeks before checking their Tax Refund status.

Taxpayers should ensure that they have their social security number, their complete mailing address and the refund amount shown on your tax return.

They are then requested to click on the following link that will provide them the Tax Refund Status.
