According to the Arkansas Department of Finance & Administration, tax returns that "are electronically filed will generally be processed within 10 days of the time the acknowledgment is posted by the state. Paper refunds are usually processed within 4 weeks of mailing if mailed prior to March 1st. If mailed after March 1st, please allow 6 weeks to process."
Taxpayers who wish to check on the status for their tax refund, will need to provide both the Social Security Number of the Primary filer, shown as “Your Social Security Number” on form AR1000 and the Postal ZIP Code shown in the address area of your AR1000.
They are then requested to click on the following link that will provide them the Tax Refund Status.
