457 (b) early distribution question

Hi, thank you for looking at my post. I hope you can help.I terminated employment and have a 457 b from a previous employer. I will not roll it over and instead will take an early distribution. I know the irs takes 20% out initially. Will I have to pay more income tax?

I make 44000/yr as a social worker and the early withdrawal will be 25000 minus the 20%. I am a single head of household with 3minor children 15 and younger.

Appreciate your help. Joseph
