Is time spent creating document deductible

I have an LLC I use for teaching and flying as an independent contractor pilot. My teaching involves teaching ground school classes on a couple of airplanes. In developing the courses, lots of time was spent creating an aircraft systems manual for use in the class as well as a power point presentation. I get paid for the actual time that I teach. How can I use prep time as a deductible expense?
