Education credits

Hi all,

My wife attended school( for associate degree) from Jan 2010 to May 2012 (5 semesters). She got 1098-t for 2010 and 2011 but not 2012. Jackson Hewitt said we can claim education credit of 2012 too. Now I got a mail from IRS that the they could'nt verify with the school. My question is even she went to school from Jan to May on 2012 can't we claim education credits?

Any tips?

Thanks
Paras.
