Do I have to file schedule SE or C from 1099 Misc

I received a 1099 Misc for a $2,000 check that was given to me from a non- profit corporation I am a board member for. I am not an employee of the company nor do I consider myself a private contractor. I know I have to pay tax on the income but do I have to pay the the additional 15% fica taxes that sometimes go with 1099 Misc's?
