| IRS eases on E-filing of Exempt Organizations!
Exempt Organizations with 990s due in Jan. or Feb. get some e–filing relief, as the IRS is delaying the E–filing deadline to March 30, 2012.
The IRS has decided to grant exempt groups a "blanket extension" until the end of March to e–file their 990s. This apparently was a result of some technical issues at the IRS. This affects groups with fiscal Years ended on either Aug. 31, 2011, or Sept. 30, 2011, in addition to those with tax returns on extensions into early 2012.
