no-income...

For year 2007, my income/wages earned from W2's was virtually zero (<$500.00). Does this "so-low" amount disqualify me from any of the standard-issue refunds/credits? I own my home and I'm a single-parent, though as fate would have it, this is an odd year; when the ex- gets to claim our son. Is there anything at all out there... head of household, homeowner... gulp???

Many thanks,
Jeff

How are you making your household payments if you are only making <$500 per year?

Not per year, just this... rather last year (2007). Sorry for the delay in replying, I didn't think any one would answer. The direct answer to your question is that I've managed to make my mortgage and car payments and basic living expenses withor from monthly un/non-taxed child-support and a the balance of an un/non-taxed workers comp. claim. Of course the workers comp funds are pretty much depleted now. I think I already know the answer to this quickie follow-up, but does this paultry amount for year 2007 also prohibit me from getting a stimulous check this year? thank you
