Past S Corp taxes never filed!

I have an LLC that is recognized as an S corporation. I elected to be recognized as an S corporation upon opening my business, and was recognized as such by the IRS starting May 7, 2013. I have never filed taxes on my business, but did file a personal 1040 in 2013 (with no claim of the LLC in any way). It has come to my knowledge that I could file an amended 1040 return for 2013 and add my LLC taxes with my personal taxes from that year...is this possible with my company being considered an S corporation? Since I never filed taxes on the business I'm hoping that I can file it under a sole proprietorship on an amended 1040 with an added Schedule C...or will it be necessary to file an 1120s for 2013?
Any help would be much appreciated...I have been researching for quite awhile.
Thank You
