Carryover to Estate of Unused Personal Capital Losses?

Is there any way to carry over to the estate of a deceased unused capital losses from years past? I know that capital losses can be applied against current year capital gains and capital gains distributions, and that up to $3000 in additional previous losses can be applied to the final personal tax return..... But if there are still unused personal losses remaining can they be carried over to the deceased's estate?
