Taxes Wife and Social Security

With the Advise from a lawyer i have been filing Married filing separate for years
My Wife has become disabled and now gets Social Security I always get a return but now since she has been disabled she always has to Pay in I want to know if we file joint this year will i be risking her Social Security benefits because of my income

I tried many way of filing I'm doing this all On=line have been for the last 5 years
I tried myself and i get around $3000 back i tried her by herself she has to pay in around $800 i did it joint and we get back around $3800 together to me the best thing is to file joint BUT i don't want to risk her Social Security Benefits

Any help
