IRS offers appealing tax credits for low income housing & fixing up of old building.

IRS offers appealing tax credits for low income housing and the fixing up of old buildings. These tax credits can now offset the dreaded alternative minimum taxes.

However, the IRS offers this tax credit only to “low-income project that are effectively put into service after 2007, and have further stated that they would apply to rehabilitation expenses incurred after 2007.”
