| 2014 Social Security Changes
The following represents the “2014 Social Security changes related to Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA). The government announced “that's based on the increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI-W) from the third quarter of 2012 through the third quarter of 2013, Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries will receive a 1.5 percent COLA for 2014.”
