Congress gives tax breaks to Active Duty Soldiers!

Congress has provided some good news to members of our active armed services with respect to the tax rebate. The Rebate rules for Soldiers are now less stringent.

Previously, in order to get the tax rebate for joint tax returns, the soldiers had to provide a valid SSN for both spouses.

Now, the rule has been eased to allow a full Rebate for joint filiers, provided one member of the spouse is a serving member of the armed forces during the year, it will not be necessary to have a valid SSN for the other spouse to get the full rebate.

Of course, during the course of time, the other spouse will need to apply for a proper SSN.
