When can the IRS will take your Tax Rebate?

Can the IRS really take your Tax Rebate? The answer is yes!

In fact the IRS has stated specifically that if the taxpayer has any one of the following situation applying as shown below;

1. the taxpayer owes back IRS taxes,

2. the taxpayer has unpaid Student Loans,

3. the taxpayer has unpaid Child support payments outstanding,

then, the IRS will in fact grab your Stimulus Tax Rebate. This despite the fact that the taxpayer may be repaying the previous IRS tax debt in installments and in which the taxpayer is current with these payments.

The Rebate check will be applied to pay off any past debt and if there is an excess amount the excess will be then refunded to the taxpayer.
