| What are the Payment Schedule for the Tax Stimulus Payments?
The IRS has provided some guidance as to the timing for "economic stimulus payments" which are related to tax returns processed by April 15, 2008. The payment date of these checks will be based upon the following 2 factors as follows;
1. the last 2 digits of your social security number and
2. whether or not the payment is directly deposited or not.
1. For Direct Deposit Payments
For the direct deposit payment, the payment dates are as follows based upon the last 2 digits of the SSN#.
Last 2 digits of the SSN#.......Date Payment will be received
00 – 20....................................May 2
21 – 75....................................May 9
76 – 99....................................May 16
2. For a Paper Check
For the a paper check payment, the payment dates are as follows based upon the last 2 digits of the SSN#.
Last 2 digits of the SSN#.......Date Payment will be received
00 – 09..................................May 16
10 – 18..................................May 23
19 – 25..................................May 30
26 – 38..................................June 6
39 – 51..................................June 13
52 – 63..................................June 20
64 – 75..................................June 27
