What are some of the Popular Tax Breaks that have expired after 2011?

The following popular tax breaks will have expired after 2011 (as Congress could not agree to keep these) are as follows;
  1. Write-offs of State Sales Tax.
  2. Teachers $250 deduction for Classroom supplies.
  3. Taxpayers aged over 70 1/2 will not be able to donate upto $100,000 a year from their IRA's directly to charity.
  4. Higher AMT exemptions exemptions and AMT offset for Personal tax credits such Tuition and Dependent Care.
