Post Filing Tax jointly for dependant spouse with H4 visa

Hi,

I am currently on H1B Visa and got married last year in January 2010 in an Indian court.

My wife who was working in India for entire last year (2010), just got her dependant H4 visa this year on April 12th, 2011 and she plans to come here in few days by April end 2011.

We will apply for her ITIN number as soon as she gets here as she does not have her SSN#, and so was wondering if I can file my taxes jointly for 2010? if yes, do I need to also include her earnings from India?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards

P.S: I have already applied for a an extension
