Websit Fixed Asset

Dear TaxGuru,

Website design development over $15k should be booked as fixed asset on Balance Sheet, but my CPA insisted on expense this to professional fees - subcontractor.

Help?! We do not need this extra expense, but would like to keep it on the Balance Sheet as an Asset to help the strength of our BS; but CPA wants to expense it all in one year.

Thank you,
Sufen Wang
