How do I claim a loss on a 1099-MISC?

I received a 1099-MISC for from a company for which I had participated in market research studies. I was compensated with gratuity items. I sold these items for less than the company claims to have paid me in gratuities. I have bills of sale for each item sold. Preferably using Turbo Tax, how do I rectify what my 1099-MISC says with the amount actually earned?
