Can I still claim my college-bound 23 Year Old Child as a dependent?

I was wondering if I can claim my college-bound 23 Year Old Child as a dependent on my person tax return?

Well, per the IRS Tax Code, if your child is a full-time student, you can claim him/her as a dependent until age 24, unless your child takes a personal exemption on his/her own tax return.

The exception applies if your child is a part-time student, in that case, you can only claim him/her as a dependent until age 19.
