Can 2018 W4 dependent error be fixed/amended now?

Hello,

My wife and I started to file out taxes and the preliminary result looks like we owe ~ $3500 back to the IRS.

When reviewing why we owe money for the first time, my wife thinks she may have put down 1 dependent on her W4 form when she started working last year (Feb 2018).

Its just she and I, we have no kids or parents or others we claim as dependents in reality

Is there any way this can be amended now (in 2019) to be zero dependents, potentially going from owing money to getting a refund?

If we cant change the W4, what are our options for paying this money back?

The minimum monthly payment for your plan depends on how much you owe.an installment plan allows you to pay your taxes over time while avoiding garnishments, levies or other collection actions. for more accurate info in detail plz contact the IRS
