When must an employer file their quarterly 941 payroll tax returns?

An employers Form 941 is due by the last day of the month that follows the end of the quarter.

1.First Quarterly 941
For the First Quarter ending March 31st, the filing due date is April 30th.

2. Second Quarterly 941
For the Second Quarter ending June 30th, the filing due date is April 30th.

3.Third Quarterly 941
For the Third Quarter ending September 30th, the filing due date is April 30th.

4.Fourth Quarterly 941
For the Fourth Quarter ending December 31st, the filing due date is January 31st of the following year!
