IRA Account & Dividends

This probably is a stupid question. Does an IRA stock account, not receive, or not require 1099-DIV tax papers? The stocks that pay the dividends, deposited them directly into my IRA stock account.

I never received any 1099-div from my stock broker, but did receive my 1099-R rollover tax paper. I just want to make sure.
