house buying

we are buying maybe our first home.
now i like to know if it will be tax advantage if i buy the house or my father who lives overseas.
we live in texas.
My father would like us to have the house and let him have all the profit off of it(as we will rent it out for 4 years before we move tio the house)
we are finishing college and need to be more stable to live in this house.
is there a taxlaw which allows me to own the house and my father to receive all profits?
