Does New Jersey allow the Federal Sales Tax Deduction for Income Tax purposes in 2009

According to New Jersey Division of taxation, "New Jersey law provides no deduction from income for sales taxes paid. Taxpayers may not claim a deduction for sales tax on their 2009 New Jersey income tax return."
