What is the deadline for the 2006 IRA Contribution?
I was under the impression that I could fund my 2006 IRA anytime in 2007 that included the period of my tax return extension. Is that correct?

The deadline for making a 2006 IRA contribution is April 16th , 2007. Any contribution made thereafter would be considered as a contribution for the 2007 tax return.
