Smile eBay sales

I bought some sportscards to hold as investment. I would like to start selling on eBay as a small business with a tax number. How would I go about converting these cards (which I bought to hold as long term gains) from investment over to inventory? We are not talking big $ here, but enough to get a bit of cash flow for my eBay endeavor. Thanks
