I purchased a new desktop computer, monitor and an additional internal hard drive for my small business; all three items were purchased from different retailers. I was planning to take a Section 179 deduction, but rather than listing my $230 monitor and $150 internal hard drive separately, can I just add their cost to the computer and then take one Section 179 deduction for "Computer System with Monitor" or do all three items have to be listed/deducted separately?
