NJ SCORP Tax Return

When should I file a SCORP NJ Tax return?

We are a consulting company with receipts from NJ.
From this
Corporation Business Tax Overview - NJ Taxation

it appears when you have receipts from NJ you need to file. Does this mean receipts from consulting as well?

We also have payroll there.

You should generally be filing your Federal S corporation tax return on March 15, 2009. However, since it falls on a Sunday, the IRS has extended the due date to March 16th, 2009.

With respect to your NJ Corporation tax return, this return needs to be filed by April 15th, 2009. Now, regarding the NJ tax return, if that is the state you are incorporated and operating, all your revenue and expenses that include payroll would be sourced 100% to NJ State.

But, if you have revenue, payroll or rent sourced from other states, then you may be required to file a Multi-State tax return. You should check with your CPA to determine whether you are required to file a Multi-State tax return.
