I am completing Form 4562 using TurboTax and on Line 22 it says that the sect. 179 deduction from line 12 and the MACRS deduction on line 17 should be added together. TurboTax is only putting the amount from line 17 onto line 22 - is there any circumstance where the sect. 179 would not be added? I am well below the max limit. Thanks.
